Preliminary data from vessel-tracking agencies indicate that the number of ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz yesterday remained largely unchanged from the weekend, holding steady at around five vessels—a figure below the daily average of approximately 14 recorded over the past ten days.
According to a Reuters report citing data from the tracking firm Kpler, the five vessels consisted of four entering the strait and one exiting. Ships with their transponders turned off were not included in this count.
